Junior Inter-Club Competition

The Junior Inter-Club Competition went well on the weekend. For Brett and Liam it was their first competition. Both fought well in their divisions and enjoyed their first competition experience. Congratulations to Emily who won 2nd in her division and to Zachery who won 3rd in his division. Unfortunately Philip was unable to compete due to being unwell. 

2012 Adelaide Open Junior Judo Tournament

Congratulations to Emily & Zachary who both fought in the above Tournament. Both competitors fought strongly. Emily won a Bronze in her division. Todays comp was Zacherys first comp winning a Silver.

Judo SA Autumn Championships

Congratulations to Emily, Philip and Dan all taking 1st place in the above championships held at Hallet Cove yesterday.  Congratulations to Aaron who fought strongly in the Open Weight Division and took a 3rd placing.  All players contested well and enjoyed the interaction with other Clubs competitors.

State Titles - held at Port Augusta 17th March 2012

Congratulations to Philip winning his first State Title (his first of many we are sure). Philip competed in the Judo SA State Titles held at Port Augusta last Saturday 17th March. Three contests, three ippon wins Well done Philip.  Judo SA is an affiliate of the Judo Federation of Australia which is the pathway to the Olympic Games, so if your dream is to one day compete in these games, you are on the right path.

Congratulations also to Dan who took gold in his weight division and to Aaron who was awarded a silver in the  State Titles held at Port Augusta. Both players fought strongly and their future looks promising.
